Terms of Service — Pre-Seed Portfolio

By using Pre-Seed Portfolio ("we", "us", "the platform"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The platform

We operate a guided pre-seed incubation marketplace connecting founders with retail backers. The platform:

Lists vetted ideas for backing in micro-amounts (currently capped at USD 1,000 per investor per idea).
Holds all backer funds in an escrow account operated by AI Central Partners (M-Pesa Paybill 880100, Account 899775).
Releases tranches only when milestones are independently verified by the platform.

2. Not financial advice. Not a public offering.

Listings on this platform are not a public solicitation of securities. We make no claim that any idea will return capital. You should treat every contribution as at-risk capital you can afford to lose.

3. KYC

Contributions above a platform-set threshold (currently USD 100) require identity verification. We may pause your account until KYC is completed.

4. Cooling-off

You may request a full refund within 24 hours of admin verification of your payment, no reason required. After that window, refunds are governed by the Refund Policy.

5. Founder responsibilities

Founders represent that information submitted is truthful, that they own the IP they claim, and that they will honour milestone commitments. Material misrepresentation can result in the idea being marked failed and unreleased escrow refunded.

6. Disputes & jurisdiction

Disputes are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. We will first attempt good-faith resolution through the platform's flagging and admin review process.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified by email or in-app banner. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
