Refund & Cooling-off Policy

24-hour cooling-off

You may request a full refund of your contribution within 24 hours of admin verification of your payment. No reason required. Email hello@aicentral.africa with your M-Pesa reference.

After cooling-off

• Escrow balance (not yet released): refundable if the idea is marked failed or if you demonstrate material founder misrepresentation through the flag process.
• Released tranches: non-refundable — these funds have been deployed against verified milestones.

Idea marked failed

When the platform marks an idea failed (lost momentum, founder withdrawal, fraud discovered, etc.), the full escrow balance is queued for refund and credited back to your M-Pesa within 7 working days.

Publishing fees

Founder publishing fees are non-refundable once the idea is live in the marketplace.

How refunds are paid

Refunds are sent to the same M-Pesa number the original payment originated from. If that number is no longer in service, the platform will request an alternative number and ID verification before disbursing.
